We'll pick you up in Athens

Free Transportation

We provide transportation for your entire group to and from the new Athens Airport (http://www.aia.gr) free of charge. We will be the first and the last people that you will see upon arriving and before leaving Greece.

Sailing Yachts

View photos, schematics and technical info for our fleet and find the perfect boat for your trip.

Our fleet includes a wide range of yachts to fit almost any group size or trip length. All of our yachts are fully covered by Lloyds Insurance of London. Additional provisions include: personal injury insurance, oil pollution and third party liability. We also have a full-time Engineer attending to the maintenance and performance of our sailing yachts.

Crew

The prices for all trips include an experienced Captain who will navigate the boat but more importantly serve as a knowledgeable guide to the ins and outs of each island and port, even suggesting unique restaurants, bars, and stores that are usually known only to locals and frequent visitors. In many cases by the end of the week the group will be going to dinner with the captain and keeping in touch long after the trip ends.

We are members of the Greek Professional Yacht Owners Association (SITESAP)

No Extra Costs

All prices include all gas, water and dock fees. Once the trip is booked and paid for, your only requirement will be to show up at the Athens airport, the rest of the trip is entirely coordinated for you.

Food, Drinks & Shopping

Essentially, your only expenses after arriving in Greece will be souvenir shopping and food/drinks while in port.

Other Frequently Asked Questions

Are there electrical outlets on the ship?
I believe the ship will have a cigarette lighter but there is no outlet. You can buy a cigarette lighter converter at most electronic stores.

There is a shower on board, correct?
Correct, there are showers on board.

We're trying to pack light, but will probably have a couple of suitcases . . . is there storage space for our bags/clothes?
There is definitely room on the boat for you to put some moderately sized suitcases.

How is the weather in May? Should we pack for hot or cold weather, or perhaps both? I imagine it may be warm in the day and cooler in the evening?
I would recommend packing for both. It should be nice and warm during the day but a bit colder at night. I would also recommend bringing something warm and water proof in case there are high winds while sailing.

Can you please suggest and itinerary for the islands to visit...what are the most popular routes for your clients?
The two most popular itineraries are the Cyclades and the Saronic Gulf. The Cyclades are a more touristy. You can see the exact islands on our Greece Sailing Routes page. My favorite islands in Cyclades are Paros and Mykonos, but it can be difficult to sail that far depending on the weather. You captain should be able to discuss this with you in more detail. In the Saronic Gulf I love Hydra, its a beautiful, small, hilly island with no cars.

Do we sail all day, only a few hours, everyday, etc? How does it generally work?
Depending on your route you will sail anywhere from 4 hours to 8 hours. I would discuss with the captain if you would prefer sailing less or more, he should be able to find a route that meets your needs. For instance, if you take the Saronic Gulf route and you really like Hydra, you should be able to stay there for two night.

Can you please recommend activities on the islands?
The activities vary from island to island. This is a question that your captain can probably answer better than I can.

Recommendations for dining...I think you mentioned people generally bring breakfast and lunch groceries, and then dinner on the islands?
You should have time to eat breakfast on the boat or on the island before leaving. You eat lunch on the boat and most people go out to a local tavern or restaurant for dinner at night.

Will it be an issue if we bring wine/beer aboard?
There is definitely no issue with bringing alcohol on board.

What will be the sleeping arrangements with the captain? Does he sleep on the ship with us?
The captain does sleep aboard the boat in a separate cabin.
